transplanting to another pot

any thoughts on the best way to move a play thats about 9 inches to another pot? how can i not damage any of the root system?

If ure lookin for info on transplanting from one pot 2 another then its easy
put your hand over the pot with the plant between youre fingers and turn the pot upside down and gently(Gently) shake the pot to loosen the soil from the edges of the pot and lift the pot of slowly.If u done it right the soil should stay intact with no damage to the roots.have a bigger pot ready with soil and a space in the middle for the plant to go into,then simply stick the plant into the centre and even out the soil and youre done!.(pre-soak the soil in the bigger pot and water it well when ure finished so it can have a nice drink!
U should transplant when ure plants soil is kinda dry, it will make it easier to slide off the pot

^^^ Pretty much what was said there. If it comes out right, the dirt and the entire root system should just slide right out.

or you could try a pot in pot, remove the bottom of the pot, and stick it on top of another prepared container of soil. reserving your root ball up top, allowing roots to spread throught the other container. check jaytbells gro in the journals, youll see what im talkin about.
