Day 8 of my first grow

ok, i decided this update i would explain everything and hopefully i will get some good insight. I started my seedlings for the first week under 4 cfl 26 watt lights and fan on 24/7 in rockwool. I added water once a day, sometimes twice if the rockwool looked really dry. just today i added 2 more cfl 26 watt daylight bubls. I have right now 6 plants (another looks like its dieing the blue cheese that fell

). 6 plants max hoping for 2-4 weeks in this area. and when i mean this area i mean an old dresser, very simple keep lights on 24 hours got a dome starting the seeds in rockwool. Going to transfer some outside and some grow indoor hydroponically with 400 hpw light in a closet. Was just wondering wondering if that seems like a legit process. here are pictures of my babies now the humidity is at 54% which should be higher i just dont know how to get more inside the dome. the temp is in the 81. I am just doing a small 2-4 grow i just want to smoke for free and save money lol. thanks

How far are the lights from the dome? 2" is prolly fine - anything more than that and you're prolly not getting the most out of it. I'd put the thermometer under the dome and as long as you're under 85 - its prolly not too close. Also with the dome you prolly don't need to water, maybe once or twice a week until the dome comes off.

Is it me or are the plants just the same size as they were two days ago? Slow growth could be a sign that something is stressing the plants. I only realized this cause I had seen your pics in other threads. You might want to start a grow journal so that more people can see the progression of a grow without having to look through a bunch of different threads. A snapshot is nice - but seeing what happend before is helpful in recognizing things.

the lights are 3" from the dome. I just watered them today, first time in 2 days, didnt do much cause it didnt need much. temp is at 79 the humiditiy is rising from 40%. I did have them without the dome for a little bit then put back on cause humidity was a problem. the 2 n. souls are starting to show there 3rd set of leaves (including the first set which i believe just fall off) and one cheese is doing good on her second leaves and the other fell and im still trying to salvage that, doesn't look promising though. I have lost 2 out of 6 now, and started a new blue cheese and a pure gold about 2 days ago. You said i should start a journal how would i go about doing that? thanks again for the comments

The grow journal section is here: Grow Journals - Grasscity.com Forums Its where people document their grow from start to finish. Great place to read how other people are growing, especially when you find ones with a similar setup as what you are lookiing to do.

Once they fall this early in the game its usually a lost cause, but then again you're not hurting anything to leave it in there and prop it up in the mean while.

You can prolly get them closer to the light as long as you keep temps around 85.

just quick update i lowered the lights to about 1 1/2" away from the dome the temps at 81 degree F and 38% humidity. The plants got a little over watered while i tried to raise them closer to the lights. I hope this works, got some more seeds on the way but i want to make sure these babies get a good kick start

you dont really need a dome for seedlings. if anything your putting in too much effort.

i just put them in little 4" pots and left them on my pc for a few days until they were all stable, before putting them under proper lights.

if you wanted to raise humidity in the dome just put a few bottlecaps of water inside it. dome are only really neccessary for seedlings though so ive heard.

seeing as you like dan brown, have you ever read anything by jordan maxwell, zachariah sitchin, michael tsarion, texe marrs or david icke etc?

everything looks pretty good bro but im with the other guy you should def start a journal...

also is that fan an oscillating model? if not you should replace it with one otherwise theyll get wind burned...no good

got the fan oscillating it wasn't before but now is. Will start a journal soon, just bought some more seeds excited about that too! The dome is on to keep humidity up and i am pretty excited about these first plants and hope the other two grow soon. keep the smoke alive
