i gotta let the plant grow a little in a cup first right? This practice is frequently called "germination" amongst the grower population. Germination is the stage in which the seed is beginning its life by cracking its' seed and beginning to form a root system as it sprouts from the ground. As for methods, there are many ways. One is to get a glass of water, drop the seeds in, and store it in a dark place for a week or so. The seeds that sink have a good chance of germinating. Another method, and my preferred method, is to dampen a few paper towels, placing the seeds in between, and putting them in either Tupperware or a plastic baggie for a week. The seeds that want to sprout will show themselves to you. if i dont have fertilizer, am i screwed? No. MJ plants survived for thousands of years with nothing but what Mother Earth gave them. It is, however, HIGHLY advisable that you purchase a three-part (Micro, Veg, Bloom) hydroponic nutrient solution, even if you're growing in soil. and can some one give me a pic of a male, and female? Check out this link: http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/264 and if posible, can anyone tell me exactly what they do for outdoors, but keep in mind, where iam planting, the soil is hard, but iam trying to moisten in up a bit Check out this link: http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/browse.php?topic=506 Hope this helps you out. ~Lycanthropy P.S. This link is the main Grow FAQ part of Overgrow. http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/
