can you tell from the texture of the plant, if its sativa or indica? are indicas leaves darker.. or what? or can you only tell the strain when the buds grow?

you can tell by the leaves, indicas, have short and fat leaves, and sativas are long and thin.........Peace out..........Sid

Sativa long narrow leafs. Indica has wide leafs.
You can tell what strain by how it grows.
Sativa narrow leafs and grows tall.
Indica wide leaf and grows short and bushy.
