new grow.. what strain?

Hi everyone,

well thanks to grasscity and all of you guys, I've reached my first harvest. Specials thanks to BPP and vatoloco, also to woody and ndicabud(I think I learned something from every post you guys made).

Well Im starting a new grow, and I was wondering what strain I should choose. On the first grow, I used kc33 and NL#5 and had moderate success. This time around Im going with a hydro setup (DWC)(my first time on hydro), and I was wondering if you guys could make a suggestion on strains. I was thinking about Haze, Blueberry, Bubblegum, or Skunk. I REALLY prefer the sativa buzz to indica, but I don't have alot of up room to grow, like 3 feet max. Any suggestions.

Anyone tried Silver Blue strain..

That silver blue sounds like a couch-lock indica, not a sativa.

I think all your choices sounded good. A good first-time hydro is Top 44. Not too expensive on seeds and a quick finisher so if your security is not top notch, you limit your exposure. Plus its not too tall I think.

Now if you want an indica try, look at Master Kush, not too tall, loves bubble buckets, grows hair on your head and lose 10 lbs in three months.

I'd have to agree with BPP,and woody..on the top44,,it can be somewhat forgiving to minor miscalculations,,,more than others,,making it a good test subject.......good luck...let us know what you end up going with......

Thanks for the replies guys, I decided to go with the powerplant (looks pretty cool) and the top 44. Maby I'll try and hybridize the two, and see what happens...

All your selections are great...but I would have to say Blueberry. Check out this show if you have the time. Marijuana Man rates 20 different strains and his #1 pick was Blueberry.

If you're looking for more of a sativa high then go with Early Girl. You won't be disappointed with anything crossed with BlueBerry. Top 44 and Powerplant look great too.
