18/6. give your plants a chance to chill out, stay away from 24/7

I did 18/6, and mine turned out just fine. From what I've read, plants need downtime just like we do. Plus the added electricity cost and excess heat from the lights just isn't worth it. You can see results in my grow journal in my sig.

Why do either, how about 20/4? I've never tried it personally as opposed to 18/6, but I think experimentation is the key to truely learning how to grow weed. Though myself prefer 18/6, I think the next grow im going to do 20/4 in the begginin just to see if it differs at all.

Plants use the 'night' to genarate neccessary sugars and things like that, if they don't get a chance to do that, it stunts the growth.
