The Pure, still flowering at 11 weeks, going on 12

well as the title says ive been flowering my TFD The Pure's for almost 12 weeks now, there have been milky trichomes all over for at least 5 weeks and i havent seen one amber one yet, using a 60x scope.
4 plants are in 1 litre pots in a sog, they only drink rain water, they had chempak 8 for the first 4 weeks, some beastie bloomz for the next 3 and ive been flushing since, they look healthy enough, stink like cat piss and everything seems great, they just dont want to stop! they have had a tight light regime with no light leaks, te,ps are good at 24c day and 18c night, plenty of circulation, 150w hps
is it me or do the pures usually take 12 weeks + ?

help plz thnx

12 weeks & no amber trichs?

The Pure is around 75% Sativa, & that is why they are taking so long.

I would suggest using strains that are mnore Indica dominant.

I can get my plants to finsih flowering in 52 days. They are also 100% Indica though.

Can you post some pics??

A plant flowering for 12 weeks is going to need a lot more room than a 1 liter pot man even in a SOG. How root bound are they?

i had a look at the seeds description and your right, 75% sativa, for some reason i had it in my head it was 50/50, thats probably got something to do with it then. ive tried to take some trich shots but theyre just too blurry. and nope, still not one single amber one.
i know 1 litre pots are rather small but my closet is so small i cant really get much bigger, the plants are 2 feet tall though and they arent too badly bound, considering. i'll try for bigger pots next time, but bigger pots means bigger plants and i dont know if my closet will accomodate anything much taller than these. well, i guess i'll just need to wait.. i was just hoping someone would reassure me they'll be done soon, because im absolutly dying for a smoke but i will wait as long as need be.
ive had them on 12/12 from seed btw, think thats had anything to do with it?

If you wanna speed up the ripening process, change your photo-period to 14 yrs. dark, & 10 hrs. light.

The extra 2 hrs. of darkness will really help some of the trichs turn amber.

Also, how big is your closet?

I'm sorry but 14 years of darkness made me laugh.
I know it was just a typo, but a funny one!

well i havent turned the lights back, but ive had them out in the sun for the last 2 days and low and behold within seconds of a glance through the scope im seeing a few beautful red rubys on all plants. apparently theres very little UVB from HPS lamps and i think the UVB from the sun is just giving them that final boost that they need. either that or theyre finishing naturally or a bit of both but theyre coming along none the less.
thanks for everyones input
over and out

white paint and a white sheet of paper on the door, havent got round to painting the door yet

the ballast and contactor are fixed to the side of the box, theres a single socket to the wall and if you need to move it, u can just pick it up and go!
