Hydroponic Help
Hey as you can see I'm new to the forums and am looking for some help with my first grow. I plan on using the closet of my apartment (still working on exact dimensions but approx the size of your typical closet). I want to grow hydroponically but my head is swimming in terms of choosing a system, what kind of irrigation do I want, do I want a grow box, etc. A main concern of mine is smell, while my neighbors don't mind the occasional wiff of me burning one down, I would like to keep this operation as covert as possible and thus need a means of eliminating smell (perhaps a carbon filter?) I have a reasonable budget but am not interested in dropping 2k on a all inclusive grow box. I'd like to grow around 4 plants (plan on germinating more and then just choosing the 4 strongest). Any and all information is appreciated and thanks for the help!

If I were you I'd go for DWC no doubts line your closet with reflective sheeting as for smell either go for a carbon filter or I hear these work well http://forums.cannabisculture.com/fo...190414&fpart=1

Keep in mind with any good effort at hydro you need good testers and equipment. Your pH and EC/TDS meters plus calibration/storage solutions and the pH up and pH down you will use to adjust your system will run between 200-300 alone.
As for setups, check the stickies in the "Indoor Growing" area and "Advanced Growing Technique". I sure a few in particular will give you all the info you need if you take the time to read all the posts

as far as grow boxes i jus got a homebox s and its a perfect size.. (32x32x64) www.buy-the-homebox.com.. ill post all my pics once i get it set-up...
