I agree with everyone else, they aren't showing yet.

However I also have a question (regarding when they'll start to show).

Except for the autoflowering varieties our plants flower based on photoperiod which, since these plants are being grown outdoors, would mean these plants won't start flowering until they start to receive longer nights.

So I'm confused as to how everyone can say they're close to flowering based on what they saw in the pics when the trigger to start them flowering is not their maturity or size but the length of the dark period they receive.

..just wondering

I dont have any experience on which strains are "auto flowering" because I was always told they are rare, however any MJ I have ever grown, or have seen grown first hand, has shown sex during vegetation lighting hours.
So personally, I go off of growth, however this may not be proper all around the world.

yes ,your spot on , i stand corrected never noticed he was growing outdoors, just thought took outside for pics, until i noticed his avator so it might be weeks before it shows its sex.

as you know it depends on your position to the equator(southern/northern hemisphere)
southern hemisphere plants will flower quicker than plants grown at the northern hemisphere.......earths axis etc(yawn)...... but also the age of the plant can help the sexing/flowering ,the older the plant the quicker it will show on the longer nights, the younger the slower.

ps; a little trick for outdoor growers too help determine sex without waiting weeks for them to show is at night ,if possible, move them to a dark spot 2-3 hours before sunset then same procedure in the morning but wait an extra hour or 2 before moving back outside, this will speed up the process of sexing your plants making life a little easier to cull out the males,if any!... yes i know its not feasable for all but it does help if you do move from garden/patio indoors a little before darkness falls,& hold off before putting back outside the next morning.

peace & thanks amsterdamage for pointing that out mate

nice healthy looking plants though... well done... just be patient, if growing outdoors you can force them to flower in August and they should be ready in November
