407w cfl

i have 407w spread over 9 plants (something like whats in the picture)
im using dr.Q's soil and i use bottled watter (R.O) with no ph testing
understanding that some of these plants will be male and will get killed off do you think 407w could hold them and im not buying any hps lighting none of that. cfl only!!

how many lights u got?
they look like 27w 6500k bulbs i use
i count 12 in the pic which is 27x12= 324watts
this site recommends 100w for one plant and 30w for each additional plant
so 324 - 100 = 224 divided by 30= 7 so u can support 8 plants
note they will grow like bushs & never get real tall thats just what cfl's do hope that helps

Hey Daster, that should get you through the Vegging stage...

Do you know the spectrum of those CFLs? If you want to flower with CFLs, you may want to consider getting a red spectrum CFL in there. The most common CFLs are cool white (more blue waves) and warm white (more red waves) and then of course the ones specifically designed for blooming.

To get a decent harvest with CFLs, you really need either the full spectrum CFLs, warm white, or red...

Happy grows!
