Is this little plant stretching?

So I just germinated and planted two bag seeds for fun, I'm using this grow as a practice for when I go back to school. The plants are like three or four days old, and I'm just using one 6500k CFL. I put the light as close to the two plants as possible, but I have to put it in between the two so theres a little distance. The one looks like its stretching real bad. Check it. Sorry its kinda blurry I suck at cameras.

Think this is a problem and should I just go buy another light now since i will have to soon anyway?

whats the wattage on that light?
for two plants, u are going to need 130-135w
once they get bigger, they will grow EXTREMELY slow, so this test grow is not going to be much help for u
but to ur original question, it does seem to be stretching

::edit::
yes, go buy another light, more if possible, to reach the 150w number

It does look a wee bit stretched -- I would suggest stopping by Walmart and picking up one of those Y splitters so you can use two bulbs (from what I've read, you're going to need a whole lot more than just one bulb even for one plant). The splitters are only like $1.50.

Well, my plan is once they get to about six inches or so to plant them outside, but until then your right i'll have to get another bulb. It's only sixty watts at this point. These are just mids so i'm not super concerned, and I doubt they'll be done growing by the time I have to go back to school. My plan is to transplant them at this golf course near my house and then just come back for fall break and see what happened. Thanks for the advice.

no they look ok but would still get another light as you'll notice using only the 1 ,the seedligs search it out(thus bending the stem over a little, thats ok but better growing straight up) ,so best having a light each on top plus get a fan gently blowing on them just to strengthen the stems up.

apart from that looking good mate.

all the best

Thanks yo i now have another light and a fan, so im hoping things will progress better. From the sounds of things though I may need another light since both of the ones im using are only 60watts. Whadya think?

be ok for now as just in seedling stage, but i would get another 2 lights if money is not too tight.

that will give you 120 watts per plant & rule of thumb is a plant needs 100 watts per plant, thats only just a rough guide, as 3 will produce 180(close enough,if not enough as your putting outside).

personally i would get another 2 lights as can cover more of the plant with 2 lights on each plant
then you transplant outside having given them a good healthy start to their life, therefore= healthy plant=good yield=good smoke(if tended properly & thats easily done)

hope this helps mate
