I've never grown before and i'm just sort of fucking around this summer to learn the ropes and then I want to start a real grow back at school. I went to the hardware store today to buy some stuff and wasnt sure if the brand of CFL mattered. I bought just a general electric 6500K cool natural light but got the wrong size for my lamp so I have to return it anyway. So I figured Id check with you all if this brand works or what else I should get instead.

Brand does not matter. All you need to look for is the color temperature around 5500 - 6500K for Veg. and you got that so your all good.

GE is the brand I use I have a bunch of the 26 watt cfl's they make. good luck on your grow
