Cool My first grow

This is my first plant, and i know its a shitty pic buts with with a phone camera. Ive been growing it under 2 42w cfls for 3 weeks and added 1 more 42w last week so im at week 4. At week 2 my light had burnt my 2nd set of leaves and i thought my plant would die. It recently has been making a recovery, by branching out like 3 different shoots, but is definately growing slower. It is really short but branching out nicely and wondering if its time for some nutes? Give me some advice on what you think of my plant.

try and get the leaves to perk up a bit before trying any nutes and have you thought that its droopey cuz of no root space? my plants droop when out of root room it doesnt seem likely but its possiable. if it doesnt perk up soon just give it some nutes.

pH might be off. What kind of soil is that? How often are you watering? Are you checking your pH? What are your temps? Nutes are not gonna solve this problem so dont feed yet. That plant is unhappy.

sick plant

I'm using a good organic soil from a greenhouse garden place . The temps at 80 and I'm getting a ph tester today. The soil is nice and dry so I gave a light water . The leaves are droopy and some have purple dots on them . I just wish I knew why it won't start growing again.its got lots of new leaves and seems like it wants to grow but just won't. I will check the PH and let you guys know when I get the tester.

you should be able to get sulfur at any good greenhouse. If you aren't advese to using chemicals you could just use a little liquid ph-down or ammonium nitrate to get the ph down.

I would shoot for at least 6.5-6.8 range if not slightly lower. Beware, the cheap soil testers aren't super accurate.

transplanted

I figure I'd transplant my plant into a bigger pot and I did so. When I took the plant out of the small planter the root system is huge and I'm quite sure it was to crowded in that small pot and that's why the plant got stunted . Do you think this is possible ?

It probably wasn't helping anything (being rootbound). The bigger problem with having a rootbound plant is that it is needing all kinds of water to support the foliar system up top and yet there isn't enough room for all of that water in the pot and you risk drowning roots. So yes, this could have been the problem.

How big of a pot did you go to? How is everything now that the plant has had a couple of days to recover?

Another thing we never touched on here was the fact that you asked if it needed any nutes. Are you saying you are in week 4 of veg and have not given any nutes at all, at all?

Play it some bluegrass music and send it some good vibes. That is the key in my book.

How she look?

Well this is my plant that has recovered very well and now is growing nice and bushy. I think i am seeing little preflowers by the small new growth by the nodes as well. I sure hope my first mj plant is a girl. Think im able to clone it now by how it looks now, or does it need to be bigger? Plus she needs a watering right now.
