hey i have a week and a half old sprout that is doing great except the tips of the cotyledons (first oval leaves) have turned yellow...im wondering if this is something i should worry about or if it is just natural because all of the fan leaves are doing fine...any input is appreciated

This is normal. It is also a sign that the plant is going to be needing Nitrogen soon. I start veg nutes at 1/3 or 1/4 strength after 2 weeks of growth with most strains.

quite normal mate

the cotlydones are basically the feed for the first leaves, they store nutrients so it can feed the new shoots, then when you have new growth the cotlydones job is done & will yellow & eventually die.

so perfectly normal
