Problem with Germinization
Hey guys. I recently ordered some seeds online. I ordered some Northern Lights, and I also got 10 free seeds of Skunk. So I decided to start and try and grow a few plants, so instead of using the North Lights I figured I may as well go for the free, cheaper seeds.
So, I got a tupperware container, got paper towels, and soaked them in water and wrapped the seeds in the towels. I placed the container in a cupboard in my house. After more than a week the seeds had not sprouted. They may have been exposed a little bit of light , when I occasionally checked up on them but nothing serious. My friend also seems to think they may not have sprouted because my place is very hot and humid, especially with the weather getting hotter.
So then he decided to take them to his place, put them on a plate, with the soaked paper towels instead. He put them in a downstairs bathroom in the cabinet. And its been nearly a week and they still haven't sprouted, I noticed the seeds were pretty dark, but he said they were pretty much black.
So is this a case of the seeds just being bad ? Or human error? I ordered the seeds a few months ago, so I don't know if that might be a reason they are not sprouting. Anything I can do with these or should I move onto the better seeds? Thanks.
