How to wire a centrifugal fan?
My fan arrived today, and i went and bought some wire and a plug. Wiring the plug was straight forward. I used the blue wire on neutral, green and yellow on earth and brown wire on earth - this was labled on the plug. However the fan connections are labled different, there is a sticker labling the three wire connectors on the fan as neutral supply, switched live supply and permanent live supply. Anyone knows where the neutral live an earth wires go? The leaflet that cames with th fan isnt very helpful either. This is what it says about wiring:
earth 1. ----------> spare brown capacitor 2. ----------> spare blue 3.-----------> neutral supply in black capacitor 4.-----------> live supply in What do you make out of this? Any help is greatly appreciated! |
