Growing Too Close?

I just planted my seeds about 10 days ago. These are out side, sorry no pictures
But, when I planted them I did them about 5 inches to 6 inches apart. Now that they are sprouting up, they are much closer. I'm worried if I try to transplant them that I will destroy the roots, and the plant.
I know that 3-4 inches is too close I believe, any suggestions?
Or should I just wait it out?

Since they are small, CAREFULLY move them about 12 inches apart just to be safe.

Dig around the plant and scoop the plant and root ball up with the dirt and replant. Give them a watering after.

Ok well I've transplanted them once I wrote the msg. I ended up doing them at about 7 inches, and i tried not to hurt any roots directly. Hoenestly I have such a large grow i'm not that worried for these few plants, but I do like having a healthy stock.

Hopefully all will go well, thanks for the advice!
