looks fine, is that white stuff pesticides?

also, I think I see some yellowing on the top? Could just be the lighting,

Looks nice though.

looks fine but would only water once a day or maybe even no water every other day would be better. (meaning ,wet-dry cycle, water 1 day leave the next & water the next day & so on)
get used to lifting the pot when its needing watered then after you water it lift it up again & in no time you'll be able to know when it needs watered just by lifting the pot...........folk say its hard to get the hang of it but its really easy

but your baby looks fine.

happy growing

it has ant killer pounder around it because it got attacked by ants ! but it said it was safe for plants

the yellowish part is cuz i just watered it and the sun was hitting it , its bright green when in person

so watering when soil is dry is the best thing to do ?

check with your finger , gently poke your finger in the soil(around the edge of your pot) & you'll notice if its still moist under the crusty top soil(say around 1-2" down), if so dont water yet, hold off till next day & do the same procedure, you'll notice the moisture is now getting dryer, if not dry,due to where you stay i would imagine it will be.

now before you water pick the pot up several times getting the feel of the weight ,then after you water pick up again & get the feel of the weight after watered.
in no time at all you'll be able to tell it needs watered by just lifting the pot.

I would go with a wet-dry cycle(water 2day & not 2mrw but again the next day ,& so on)

all the best
