Power stealth Vs light - how low can u go with CFL light in veg chamber without triggering flowering? Goal is to even out the power usage so there are no spikes...
Lights on in veg box on 12hr at opposite time of lights in flower box on timers
CFL on 24 hrs in veg to keep light on mom

Would this cause issues/trigger flowering/etc
How much CFL light to keep mom happy?

i've heard 1000w per bedroom of the house is a safe usage limit. are you worried about getting snagged for power spikes? you sound like you have a pretty small'ish grow, I wouldn't worry about it. Your lights draw less power than my computer does.

Dude....so what u saying is that if i leave all my light on at night and turn them off during the day thes cops r coming??????? lol
If ur worried already about 5 cfls and a tiny box...what 1 maybe 2 plants maybe u need to find a new hobby. Cant be so paranoid already. What will u do when u need more space and better lights for flowering, Smell ect ect.

Lessee if I can clarify a lil bit

Hypothetical -
1,000w HID on 12 hrs in flower
1,000w HID added to veg box the 12hrs that flower box is off
low watt CFL on 24hr in veg

Or: 24 hrs low watt CFL PLUS 12hrs HID on veg - Halide 12 opposite HPS 12hrs. HPS & Halide = same watts
Theory is to keep from pwr spikes from HID... Thus sparking this topic...

How much CFL to keep mom vegging without stress etc & can it be done with lower watts on 12 hr while HID is on in flower rm?
Or, should veg be kept under constant amount of light???
Would it cause issues to go from 'intense light' to 'just adequate' 12/12 in veg?
And how much would be cosidered 'just adequate' for mom in veg without stresssing mother?
Anyone have an idea of reactions/issues/chances of triggering early flowering/etc???
Seems to me that natural daylight varies in intensity throughout the day; does plant growth speed up/slow according to intensity of light? Or does growth stay even as long as lights are on?
A percentage or ratio would be helpful...

I think the first option would be the most straight forward. or you could run 2 flower chambers lol

I veg for around 3 months in my grow box using cfls.
