Rubbermaid DWC help

A little small for 12 plants isn't it? Although I read the dimensions, I still can't picture it that big. 5 feet long?

I want a DWC grow in the rubbermade tubs . I want a perpetual 1lb grow. But I dont know what kind of pump to buy to drip water .Is it possible to over water or under water . How much nutes per gal, how often to change the water and other important details for a successful grow. Please someone point me in the right direction . It will be greatly appreciated!

Also, what is the ppm meter used for and how do I avoid root rot in this type of set up ?

Search ebay for "hydroponics systems". You'll have more pictures and parts lists than you know what to do with. Look for a system similar to what you want, look at the list of shit that comes with it and go build one.

By the way any nutes you buy will have a manufacturers nutrient calculator on ther bottle or website. I recomend Advanced Nutrients, it's what I and many other medical cannabis growers use and it rocks super easy to use and never had a ph problem.

i design websites, and forum boards, im well aware how they start off, moreso than most. My post said to point to specific posts not to advertise, if u know of a post that may help burntmind's problem, point to that post. However itd be even more helpful to relay the information on this board, so that others who search the forums would be able to read it too, having a board with links to other boards would be fair useless now wouldnt it.

Pointing to another board without any specifics is advertising m8 dont try and sugar coat it any other way. There are 8 forum headings with 38 sub categories, how the hell is that helping some1 ?? Now ive taken a look at the rest of your posts here at gc, and there helpfull so im not accusing you of spamming the boards but the above was advertising, not thinking before i post isnt something u can usually accuse me of (i do say usually i still smoke lol )

This thread may help you [LINK] its for home made bubble buckets, you can then alter the steup to suit your needs. Though u mentioned bubble buckets above i dont know if your looking for this sort of setup or not, as comrade said ebay has some great kits cheap! As for the ppm (parts per million) it measures the amount of dissolved salts n nutes in water, this helps u to not kill your plants through nute burn. Everything else (nutes per gallon, how often to change etc) is completely dependent on your setup and what nutes your using

Hey Thanks guys. I kind of new how to build it however I dont know how much water it should pump ,should it be a timed or constant drip , how to avoid problems that experienced growers ran into with this set up. I feel like I read the back of a good book but I cant open it to read about the good stuff , if that makes any sense .

and the rubbermaid DWC kits look like crap ive seen 6 - 8 plants in a tiny rez. However, they do include the nutes ,hydroton and all that other good stuf . So if it costs me more to buy everything i might as well buy it off ebay i suppose.
