No money, living with "mother", hope this will work

Ok, so I have been doing alot of research on planting these little seeds. Here is what I plan to do. If you think I am doing sometihng wrong, please tell me before I start.

So I got 29 seeds in totally from a bag of weed that someone sold me.

Some of these seeds are nice and brown and have that well knowen pattern on them. Some of them are green and much smaller, but I figure i will plant them anyways.

My first step is germination. I think I can pull that off in my room without my mom knowing. Im going to see if I can grab a tupper ware thing from the kitchen. How long does it take before I will see the root, and if some of them dont germinate, are they dead?

After that, Im going to find a nice place outdoors somewhere to plant them. I know I should buy some soil but unfortunatly I am broke and I would have no way of getting a big ass bag of soil back from town to my spot. I wouldnt need that much anyways. Do you think ground soil would be good enough?

How many days of a week do they need water? Or rain?

Thanks guys. PS, if these seeds dont grow very big, due to the soil or sun, its not a huge deal. As I said, indoor growing is out of the question and im broke.



edit: 9 of these seeds are smaller, green and or damaged. Maybe i should plant them just in case?

I got all these seeds basically for free anyways. How much weed could i get from 20 seeds by the end of the summer????

Germination usually 24-72 hours. sometimes up to a week, green/small ones wont grow don't bother germinating. Water usually every 3 days, dig down about an inch into the soil with your finger, if it's dry then water, play it by ear. I'm using ground soil, it's def not the best but it will grow stuff. Hope that helps, you need to search for things before you ask questions ass all of these have been answered multiple times.

Depending on how long they vegetate, you can get about 3+ ounces per plant, so around 60 ounces. But 20 plants will have males so much less. Also you're not going to grow 20 plants in your backyard...

There is so much controversy over the male. I think I will let them grow, dry them, and give them a try. Sometime they can give a slight high. Maybe I will sell it dirt cheap.

it is obvious that you are a new smoker as well?

smoking male plants will cause nothing but a headache, unless you make hash out of it. Kif is a great high.

kill males at the end of july they will start showing sex around that time give or take a few weeks depending on the strain/light cycle and read up my guide my work because its kind of stealthy and for a budget and has great results with little risk

No offense to you but it seems you are like 16 years old living with your mom and you have no clue what you are getting into or how you are going to do anything...I would strongly reccommend taking this year to really read up on how to grow and really learning about most everything you need to know that can be learned through the internet and also really planning out how your grow is gonna work...If you don't have it planned out then 9 times out of 10 you won't get a good product that is worth all the work you may have put into it because you didn't know about the PH level and you didn't think about the type of pesticide you would need for any of the bugs...Just my take on it and I mean this as constructive criticizm not hate man...

I am 18 born september 28th 1989 in dartmouth nova scotia. I HAVE been doing alot of reading but everyone just says, "males = no good" there is no further information.

I am curring living with my mother because, 1) dont have to pay rent, 2) I just finished my first year of college and I am moving out of that feild and into Music.

My seeds came from a shity gram a friend picked up for me, so if this doesnt work under my current circumstances, i dont give a shit.

If the plant gre in nature before, it will grow in nature now. I dont need fanatastic results. I wouldnt be surprised if they didn't yeild anything at all.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way either but i agree with this poster on his first few sentences.

If anything was to happen(God forbid) as far as plants being discovered you wouldn't be the only one to suffer the consequences.

You should hold off until you get your own place.JMO

I learned off of these forums myself that you should put the seed in between your fingers and apply pressure. If the seed deteriorates due to the sudden impact than your seed was in fact dead/rotten. A general sign of good seeds is dark brown edges with brighter tan cener. Zebra striping seems to always house a plant that will grow. The seeds you explained that were green and damage will not grow, throw those away.

Hope its good weed, you did find a large amount of seeds.
