peters professional water soluble 20-20-20
my plant is about 19 days old, i know your supposed to wait 20-30 days to feed when you plant in pro-mix. but how do you know when its time? i want to start feeding before the plant starts to show that its hungry so it dont get stress out. this is my one and only plant... anybody ever use "peters" http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...160&lpage=none im trying to find a grow journal of somebody who has had luck with this.

in most of the grow bibles & guides, it says to use peters 20-20-20, so id assume its a good fert to use. i use miralce gro 20-20-20 for veg, w/ no probs. if your plant is a nice dark green, then its fine. usually feeding starts @ around wk 2-3. if u feel u must feed it, start w/ 1/4 strength nutes (peters), w/ a ph of 6.5-6.8, & u shouldnt need to feed again untill another wk or so +/- a few. hope this helps

ya that did help, thanks. would that ph be the runoff, or the ph of the nurient solution? i just use one gallon jugs of distilled water do i soak the whole pot like i normally would when watering? or is it better to measure out how mutch to give it in a two gallon pot? like maybe just 32 oz a week since the plants roots has not grown very deep yet?

only if needed, but most likley yes. but still use 1/4 strength nutes for 2nd feeding, then nrxt feeding up it to 1/2
