18/6 is better imo, darkness is good for plants

24/0 is great for your plants,18/6 tends to let the plants strech but that is not a bad thing in small amounts.
the 18/6 lighting system does improve root mass but not by much.
the 24/0 gives you a lot faster growth above ground and can mean you can flower sooner, and when growing in a confined space will keep the plant to good height.

go for 18/6 mate.
we're trying to imitate outside conditions, so its never light 24/7 is it

20/4 is another good cycle ,plus gets that dark period.

i do 18/6 personal preference mate.

all the best

I usually keep my seedlings under 24/0 for the first 2 weeks at least. Than switch to 20/4.

wouldnt putting seedlings under 24 hour or 18 hour light cause them to bud when you go to put them outside? In the summer its only 14- 15 hrs of light a day and they start budding when the time only goes down an hour or 2 so from 18 hour to the 13-14 hours of light that are outside it would bud wouldnt it? since they only need an hour less light a day to bud outside?
