what makes a mother plant?

mother plant = known female that you clip clones from. So basically you take 1 plant, and make hundreds from her. You keep her in veg state so she never flowers.

as said ,its just a female plant kept in a vegatation stage so you can take cuttings(clones) & grow them.
you can keep a mother plant for years which will eliminate planting seeds(& buying pricey seeds) or obtaining new clones from mates etc.

plus cuttings from a mother have the same genes therefore will grow at same rate ,so will flower at same time & have same yields(give or take a gram or 2)

its the way to grow, from clones(space permitting). secret is picking a good mother which grows fast & yields high, but that takes time & patience too find, but you'll get there mate

great info and thats what ill do. so if you grow indoors the mother need to have her own light and space in veg state. she can never be with the rest of the flowers if you have a small area.

yeh needs its light cycle, 18/6 is perfect but if tight on space you could have it with other plants that are on veg period but only on same light cycle 18/6,then remove others & put onto flower when ready ,keeping the mother on 18/6
but i keep my mothers seperate from other plants in veg stage.

yea thats what im gonna do. im going to have a train wreck and super silver haze mother to pull from.

how long can i keep a mother til she loses her power to give great clones?
