Question on indoor grow lights

Ok so I started growing some Hawaiian Kush in the back yard, it is going great, but I am thinking of taking it inside because of the neighbors. Anyways where can I buy some lights without sounding like I want to buy "grow lights". What are these lights the equvilant to, so I don't sounf like I am trying to grow weed?(I think that is what I am trying to ask).

PS I have a Halid lamp with a 400 watt ballast but I am sure that bulb is to bright for growing, its ment for an HD projector.

go to lowes or home depot, they have both hids & cfls. the rule of thumb is 50-100w of light or a minimum of 3500-5000 lumens per plant. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...=10053&style=A u want the metal halide lights or the high pressure sodium lights. mh lights are for veg & hps lights are for flowering. u really dont need the mh light, u can use the hps for the whole grow. a 150w hps gives off 16,000 lumens. look here on how to convert it into a grow light http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=36344 your other bet is ebay, u can get a complete 400w hps (55,000 lumens) for 120$ http://search.ebay.com/search/search...hps&category0=
