white widow question

OK so I have been reading alot about growing ww and have read that they will strive in temperatures of 90 degrees to possibly even 100 degrees with the proper air movement and co2 count. Now has anyone grown ww at these temps, and how soon do I start them in the nutes. Any tips would be greatly appriciated as this is my first ww grow. Thancks in advance

why are your temps so high

with proper ventilation you should have temps around 70 to 80 degrees, are you planning an indoor or outdoor grow?

My first tip is to do a little more research before you start to grow, because a question like "How soon should I add nutes?" comes up fairly often. But to answer your questions, just because a plant could maybe survive at those temperatures doesn't mean that they'll do well; high temps will stress the plants and make them less capable of responding to other stresses that might occur, like nute imbalances, etc. IMHO, it's not worth the risk of your plant dying or going hermie just to avoid something as basic as temperature control, because better conditions will result in a bigger harvest of higher quality bud, and poor conditions can result in nothing at all.

As for nutes, there's some degree of personal preference involved in when you start them, but I'd suggest avoiding it at least until the second set of true leaves have opened up, and the plants are clearly developing their third set. Even then, make sure that you're using a low concentration of nutes, as some MJ plants are finicky.

I am doing an indoor hydro grow. My temp is 75 - 80 I have the proper ventalation, air conditioners etc. I was reading an article on one of the forums about light and heat for white widow. The article stated that with the right conditions the optimal temp for white widow is 90 degrees and the light can also be placed closer to the plants, and again was wondering if anyone had tried this before I risk my plants.

Sorry if my question was beneath your level of expertise. You see I asked these questions in an effort to get someone's "advice from THIER experience" which I cannot research. I thought that was what these forums were all about getting experienced advice, not page after page of literature. For the first poster to my questiuon thank you mam/or sir for your time and answers. For the second poster you madam or sir should remember when you started on this wondeful experience and come down off of your high horse. If I wanted a smart ass answer I would have posted at a kiddie site.

Again thanks so much poster #1 for its people like you that keep this sight what it should be people helping people.

I'm sorry if my reply seemed harsh to you, lugazzi, but I actually recommend research to pretty much everyone who asks a question in the absolute beginner's section (and "when to add nutes" is an extremely common question, and I looked it up when I started my growing experience and found the answers right here on the forums, using the search feature).

And after I said that I'd recommend more research, I answered both of your questions based on my own personal experiences in growing. And aside from the first sentence suggesting extra research, I don't see anything that I would consider to be "smart ass". Again, I'm sorry if the tone of my last post seemed harsh to you, but I really don't see how anything in it deserved the anger in your response.

I appriciate your last reply. It takes a big person to apologize, now that I re-read I see your point. Your input is very appriciated.

Now that we got that out of the way in your experience I should keep the temps where they are and leave well enough alone. Thanks BKKG +rep
