I recommend you read all the sticky's in all the growing sections of this board. Then pick up some grow books. Best thing you can do is read before buying expensive equipment and seeds.

I second that, you dont want to rely on just one thread. There are several different ways of doing so.

what you need is organic soil, light(fluorescent, hps, mh, burning ball of hydrogen gas), water, and a ph meter
everything else is optional.
