Creating a mother

The way I want to organize my first grow is to first establish a strong mother, and use that mother just for clones, so in other words, I won't be flowering my mother at all during the process, just removing clones from it. So that in mind, is it not recommended to LST my mother? I was thinking about this then I just thought it would be a waste since I am not trying to flower her.

Instead of LSTing my mother, I was thinking of just topping it so it doesn't get too tall.

Or should I just leave it alone and let it grow, and just stake snippets for each clone?

So basically my question is, Should I Low Stress Train my mother plants? top them? Or let them grow?

Anything else special I need to know about creating a good and strong mother?

thanks!

just let her grow, & when she gets too big, keep a clone for a mom, & flower the original mom.

I'm pretty certain you can clone a clone. I'm pretty sure you can make it so your mother stops growing up by pinching or something to that degree every so often.

pinch it with my fingers? or like cut it off completely? does this prevent the plant from growing or does it prevent the plant from flowering?? because i was planning on allowing the mom plants to keep growing and I would just properly prune them when needed to keep them tamed. and take clones out when nessesary.
