Whats the best setup for this small space?

ive just found a stealthy space i might be able to grow in, its underneath a windowsil, my walls had been drylined and there is even a power socket there. the hight is only 3 foot (could make it four at a push but would take ages) depth is 1 foot length is nearly 5 foot.

it needs to be smell proof.

your sugestions would be apreciated.

Thanks for your time

hi maybe you can take some photos,to show us how does this place looks like. its hard to give advices,if we dont see that place

but anyway-it's really simply to make your growing 'box' buy some daylight[6500k] and 2700k bulbs. make sure that you're giving more than 50w to each plant. get some pc fans for intake, exhaust and one which will blow on your plants to make them stronger .

you want to make sealde growing place or what? if sealed, then make one bigger hole in bottom for intake[you can go without intake fan. just make sure that the intake hole is big enough and will suck in the cold air exhaust is very important. today i mounted an ehaust fan. temperature in my growbox was about 38*C when the lights were on,that was too hot. when i mounted exhaust fan, temerature decreased to about 31*C thats because the hot 'stands' in the top of the box,and makes a dry,hot air

im sorry about grammatics, because english is my second language, this forum is only place where I can learn something new

if you want something else-just PM

have a look in the grow room design and setup section. Lots of small grows there to base yours on.

Not bad...

It actually looks like it could be a great space, but you will have to be careful about a few things.

It is probably not insulated much from the outside, what is your climate like? You may want to do some kind of insulating (around the brickwork).

I would cut a hole in the drywall for an access door, but you can work from above if you have to. Where will you suspend your lights?

You will want to increase reflectivity. I would buy some white styrofoam panels and cover the walls(neatly). That will help your insulation and reflectivity issues.

What is your plan for ventilation and odor control? Don't even think about starting a grow without having a plan for air movement.

What kind of research have you done? What are you initial ideas? You don't live at home do you?

Keep us updated and good luck.

either side of the area in thi pics is about a 6 inch cavity that goes up to the loft was going to fit a carbon filter

in uk (maybe you'll be fine for a summer grow)

to the wooden studs cant see on foto(studs run vertically...)

would that not be a fire hazzard?(only if you set it on fire)

either side of the area in thi pics is about a 6 inch cavity that goes up to the loft was going to fit a carbon filter (good plan)

thinking maybe cfl not sure how many, dont think i would be able to get hps in there tho or could i ? what way would get the highest yield, of course i live at home! who doesnt!!!!!!(cfl's would work, you would need several) you can definitely fit an HID in there if you want. t5's are always an option...and sorry, I was too high...I meant I hope you don't live with your 'rents)

you are welcome

Keep us updated and good luck.

You could grow Lowryder or one of the auto flowering range in there, check out lowlife seeds and joint doctor seeds, 2 maybe 3 but go with a 200W CFL and you should be fine, I would put mylar on the walls for better light reflection. No need to LST with the auto flowering plants and you can flower them on 24 hours of light.

How will you stop the light from leaking out the window and giving you're op away ?

With autoflowering plants you can use 24 hours of light, yes you get a bigger crop than a 12/12 grow but as with all MJ growing it's swings and roundabouts. If you can get a single 200W cfl and maybe some smaller ones to compliment it. Checkout Envirolite they do both 6400K and 2700K single 200W CFL's and you can also get them on ebay.

For seeds check out Lowlife seeds or Joint Doctor seeds both of which create auto flowering dwarf hybrid MJ seeds.
