cloning question...

Hey boys and girls my grow is going great, some bag weed I'm playing with, the white widow seedlings are doing well. I have been doing different things to the plants experimenting with pruning, light distance, nute amounts and quite frankly I killed 2 of them. I took all the fan leaves except for the very top off of 1 and well I had to get rid of the other to make room for the widow. Anyway I cloned the plants and my question is, is it a common occurance for them to lay down sort of. I have seen some video and read ALOT about it. The color of the plant is not fading and they feel nice but they are basically laying down. I took clones yesturday and last night they were down. Thancks for the info.

Smile Re: cloning question...

Hey,
I've successfully cloned 16 white widows from the same plant with no problems at all except mites for a bit of browning on the leaves. Mine do not fall over at any stage and I'm getting roots within 10 days. I keep them under 400w 24/7and do not feed the clones for 3-4 days after rooting/planting to minimize stress to the plants. I did in the beginning and found it stessed them so I leave them be a few days.

Problem is I've never pruned a widow before. Any info?

what method are you using to clone? I have never had a clone lay down on me...do you have a dome over the top of them to keep humidity high?

Re: cloning question...

Yeah, they're prob drying out a little. It doesn't take much with fresh clones. I use a bbq skewer to keep mine upright till they take off. Keep em real humid and 75-80F. I wouldnt give em too much light right away, they dont need much to take root.
