Foliage feeding question

I was wondering if spraying the plants with distilled water, in addition to reguler feedings would help or hurt plants. Hydroponic system I water 4 times a day every 6 hours. I also use 600 watt mh for veg and anothr hps to flower. Also would spraying the plants during flower affect the buds in any way, shape, fashion or form.

no reason to folair feed period. Especially during budding just opening yourself up to moldy buds.

Aye, no need to foilage feed while vegging. You shouldn't do it while flowering.

If you really want to spray them though you can. You can use distilled water. Just don't put any nutrients in it. I sprayed mine a few times a day with pure carbonated water while I was vegging them.

if you are doing things properly the plant should get all it needs as far as nutrients and water from its root system and has no need for the extra intake from spraying its leaves. I think most people use it when they see a nute deficiency and want to fix it quickly and without adding anything more to the soil or hydro reservoir. Otherwise don't do it.

Thanks so much for the advice. I'll keep those mold issues in mind.

I spray my flowering plants on the underside of their leaves once a day with water to battle any bugs from returning from an attack I had while vegging. I have seen no problems yet.

Well now that I have stopped spraying the plants all leaves are starting to turn brown on the outer tips. Could it be the spraying was keeping the plants cool? When I spray them they are dry by the time I leave the visit. Temperature I have let rise to 80 to 90 degrees. I am starting a white widow crop and have been reading that the optimal temps for widow are 90 to 95 degrees. I have two plants, bag seed, that have been growing for a test run ans they have exploded with growth since the temp rise.
