what went wrong

Hello!

This was my first grow and i fucked it up
So i'll describe what i did it and if guys have anysuggestions i wanna her'em.

The plants i was growing were Big Bang from GreenHouse seeds.
Growing inside a closet measuring 60(width) x96 (length) x160 (height), the light was a 400w HPS. The plants were in cups which can hold 450ml. Soil used had 5,8 pH. Soil mixture was 15% perlite, 15% vermiculite, 5% bio super mix, the rest soil.

I had 2 vents(one had 1100 - 2800 rpm, 76 m3/h, 80mm, the other was slighty weaker and was 70mm) for the air coming in. The air was coming through 2 holes 70mm located at the bottom of the closet.
For the air going out i had 1 vent(120mm,1850 rpm,126 m3/h and was blowing through a cool tube with the lamp inside. This air was directed outside the closet throug a tube 120mm). So the vent going out was on the whole time, the other two were on when the light was on. On rare occasions the i had one of the vents going in also running but with lower rpm.

The plants were on 18/6 hour cycle and the light was 60cm above the them. I watered them almost every day, this was when i noticed that the soil was too dry and then i watered the soil until it was moist.

So at the beginning they were doing nice, coming out the 3rd or the 4th day. But then around the 19 day the bigger leaves started getting yellow.
This occured on the center of the leave and just started slowly spreading. On some leaves the color was purple. The bigger leaves just completly dryed but didn't fell off. The smaller leaves were still good, normal color.
So i asked on one forum from my countr "What's going on ey?". They said i was watering them too much. Ok i followed the advice and watered them on 2 and a half to 3 days. But at the time the damage was already done.
So around the 30th day almost all leaves on all plants were completly yellow and dryed or coverd in yellow. Even the leaves just starting to grow got yellow. And then they just dired off.

Here are some pictures from the 21-22th day.

So if you have any advice or know what might went wrong reply.

Pictures from the 31th day comming soon.

Thx and looking for your comments.

You should make clones before it's to late and buy a Hydroponic System that does it all I orderd mine from americanbeans.net but don't share this site with anyone else!

hey

I hope you are aware 18/6 or 24 hours of light is best....soil or hydro...
i believe 60 cm is about 3" thats way to close for a 400 watt hps... should have started it around 18" then lowered it slowly over a couple weeks, I also see you had vents but did you have any current on the plants? oscilating fan? no movment caused dried leaves...
I cant really see the pictures well but it would be my guess a couple different issues caused this...Is the bio super mix the ferts ur using i see no mention of others...
I believe the guys in soil keep thier ph a little higher.. 6.2 but dont quote me..
, need to look that up...
Id move that light up 18", give them a good flush (distelled water) then a very low mix 25% of some ferts with nitrogen. If you try to clone them the clones probably wont survive they just dont look strong enough..I dont see ph issues so my best guess is they are either sunburnt and starved, or sunburnt and overfeed.....
The leaves curled like that unfortunately only narrows it down, could be the strain, over water, underwater... so thats all i have man,,, more info ill try to help
