Soil Question

I germinated my seeds today using the paper towel bag method. They are from a friend who had personal success growing them outdoors. I smoked the bud, some of the best i had.

I mixed my soil today after I started
to germinate my seeds

it is

22 quarts organic compost

8 quarts sphagnum moss peat

and probably a quarter of a 4 quart
bag of pearlite

My questions are:

-Is this going to be too harsh on my plants?
-The soil in the woods surrounding my house is loose and full of earthworms. Could this be used to neutralize any problems?

I plan on sprouting them in one of those containers with the plastic cover... the miniature green house things. Then transplanting them into 5 gallon containers.

Any thoughts or suggestions or answers would greatly be appreciated

Im sure the mix would be fine. As long as it is not packed down, just loose and fluffly (although moist!!) will be fine.

Are you planting these plants outdoors? IF so, you could dig a small hole and fill it with your mixture. That way, the plant would start in the mixed soil, then when it got bigger, the roots would expand into the said "quality" soil that is found naturally on the ground.

yes this will be happening outdoors...

I'd rather keep them in buckets though in case they need to be moved.

Would it hurt to mix in the forest soil with my mix or should
I just stick with the mix?
