1st Time grower, but a Cannibus Connoisseur LOL

What it dew? Been visiting this forum now for a few months trying to decide if i was gonna make a grow room and obviously now the answer is yes


At first i was going to do the bubble bucket system, but upon further review (after buying all the supplies) they guy at the grow store said " For beginners hydro is an expensive way to kill plants" so he converted me into a soil grow.


Plan
Walk in closet
8 Plants - Super Skunk
Start with Happy frog soil then transplant to Ocean Forest
Big Bloom Liquid Fert
Under a 400W HPS

I will add some pictures in the next few days and try to get some feedback of how i should arrange the plants and make the best use of my space.

I would really like to be able to use the same area for ALL of my growing needs (cloning, storing the mother, growing, and drying). Its a nice size walk-in closet. All questions comments and concerns are appreciated.

right on. i should be finishing up the set up, and germinating seeds by saturday. I heard this super skunk has ridiculous yeild. Anybody know from personal experience?

Went and finished picking up everything i needed to start putting my grow room (closet) together. Spent WAY more than anticipated, but hopefully in 10weeks or so i will see a decent return on my invested capital.

Before people start disecting i have litterally just started putting shit up and i know its not centered lol with that being said, feel free to discuss....



Entrance



Germination side. the lower level is going to be Black/white poly'd



top shelf/mid section is going to get poly'd (to create total darkness) and be used for drying (at least thats the plan at the moment) so basically hang drying from the top shelf



Flowering side



400w HPS going to center that and hopefully do 8 plants, but am defiantely open to suggestions if you guys have better ideas

Well you want to try to get 100 watts per plant, so I'd suggest getting another 400w.

It looks nice though man. The walls are white so that's already done, I had to paint mine.
Lookin forward to the grow man. I just put my sprouts in soil tonight.

good start; nice space. but i'm confused (or stoned )- are you going to grow AND flower in that one room? obv you will need a seperate space to flower 12/12 away from cloning and veg.

If it's a flower area...
I've done a cpl grows in small closets like that. the 400w will be enuff if you mylar up the walls. heat will be yer big concern, also ventilation!! if you have a ducted exhaust (fart fan) from the ceiling, then you might be able to bump up the wattage.

have never grown SS- is yers Sensi seeds? those are potent and fast but stinky too. you might need some filters and air treatment.

The same strain grown in soil tastes way better than when its grown in a hydro setup.

Yeah im going to germ and flower in the same room. Got a shit load of balck/white poly. Im actually about to tackle that hurdle in a little bit.

Yeah im just taking it slow with all the advanced shit untill i see the basics work, then i will worry about fine tuning and upgrades.

no i got them from another seed bank online. Yeah im still weighing all the options. I cant ask my local garden store owners opinion because he doesnt know exactly what im growing lol

One thing I can suggest is some black poly or container plates to prevent run off from damaging your carpet if you havnt thought about that yet. Also, how is the light chains mounted up top?

I have plates and poly lol. just finished the Vegitative side.






That side is done, gonna go and finish the Germination side later on tonight or 2mrw. My beans better be in the mail monday. they shipped out almost a week ago.

Need suggestions on how many to veg at once.

Minimum is 4 maximum is 8. I want to maximize yeild per plant so.....??? what would you guys do?

I thought in one of the first pics there was a key in the doorknob. I dunno, maybe Im just blazed.

Anyways, DUDE your closet looks JUST LIKE MINE, LOL. All except I bought a HydroHut Mini and doing hydroponics. But I am noob. Check out my first grow.
