Arrow Wiring A Ballast

how hard is it to wire a ballast yourself? i am hoping to avoid the trouble of going to a hardware store and buying a ballast and wiring it myself, but if i have to i want to know if i can.

or could someone send me a link that has 400 or 600 watt pre-wired and ready to go ballasts that can fit HPS AND MH bulbs?

I am no electrician, so I cant help you with that part; that being said, I think its best to purchase ones pre made to avoid all the hard work.

Should you decide to buy one, there are a few different companies online, and hopefully local for you that sell "switchable ballasts" Pre made ballasts that switch from MH to HPS, they also make bulbs that shine both MH and HPS spectrums called.......um....
Full spectrum bulbs i think.

Its not hard and ballasts kits come with a schematic to help you through it.
