are fan leafs important???? What produce the buds?? the fan leafs or all the nodes?? cause on 1 of my plants it seem liek all my fan leafs keep dieing the big weed leaf that grows then all my nodes look fine.. its jut my fan leafs... They keep getting little brown spots dark red stem and then slightly turn yellow after a awhile..but its growth is krazy it grows fast... and all the node leafs are fine.

THe big leaves are like the solar panels for the plants, absorbing all the energy then pumping the buds full of life when the lights are off.

Perfectly natural for them to yellow from the bottom (of plant) up as the plant matures. I leave mine on until they fall off naturally.

The brown spots you mention could be a deficiency of some sort...may want to check on that.

so if there suppose to die then how do the buds get formed? you said there suppose to pump the bud full of life how can they do that if they naturaly die?

Well, the ones that die from the bottom are usually replaced by the ones farther up the plant. If by chance you have a pic, it would be easier to be sure of. Plus all the little leaves coming out from the buds and nodes are collecting energy as well from the light.

well my frist set of fans leafs are dieing and the 2 set look like they might be dieing as well.. does that sound normal?? im prob on my 5th set of fan leafs my plant is a little over a ft high...

Yeah, without a pic it sounds normal. I've got clones going and they are losing their bottom leave and are about 1.5' tall.
