plant turning yellow?
well my plant is just over a week old and seemed to be doing amazing already 2 sets of leaves and strong stem but when i went to water today i noticed it was starting to turn yellow. im pretty sure this is do to no ventalation for a week? i got a exhuast fan hooked up today. you guys think it will be ok?

Ur soil got nute in it??? Ph is outta whack if u use tap water it prob is.. I just learned my lesson with ph today...

My cuttings and their Mum went yellow and I had to sling a few. The run-off ph was way higher than the feed (in rockwool - mum in coco). I rinsed with ph 6ish and upped the feed strength. I have got the green back but may well have stressed plants now. I really don't know what caused it. Fortunately I had some reserves at a friend's and am back on track now. I would have said that taking the cuttings out of the prop too soon could have been a contributory factor but that doesn't explain mum. I wasn't getting any growth either and when I looked at the cuttings' roots, some were very stunted.

It's difficult to diagnose a problem without pictures, post some and it might help us. It sounds like you have some air flowing so that's good. Good air flow is a must. I guess it could be due to lack of air flow but I've never really encountered that on my own. How's the plant now that you have some air flowing? Here are some questions that would help us with your problem and others in the future.

What kind of medium are you growing in?
Soil or hydro?
Checked the PH level?
How often do you water?
What kind of lighting are you using? CFL's, T5's, HID's?
How close is your light to your plants?

Remember to include as much info as possible to get an accurate suggestion with your problems. Peace bro and good luck.
