So am I in trouble?

I just set up my first real grow. I got 18 clones of nine different strands. A few of them looked a bit droopy when I got em, but are looking better. So I have a 4'x8' framed in room. I put in a vent fan and a circulation fan, plus a small heater if it needs it. I'm running two 400w HPS conversions on MH ballasts. I dont have good reflectors yet, so I made some out of cardboard and tinfoil. It actually works a little bit.

Now I have a few concerns.

1. Im using "maricle grow" all organic soil. I just read on a post in here that maricle grow is bad? Any input on this?

2. Also, the guy I got the clones from gave me a bottle of "General Hydroponics" brand FloraNectar and said to use it every other watering. I dont know if this is any good. Also, being its all fresh soil how soon should I start feeding?

3. Watering, just once a week? Alright, that works. Whats the best way to make sure Im not under watering?

4. What temp should my grow room be at? I can adjust it pretty well, just not sure where to adjust it to.

If by feeding you mean nutes, not just yet since fresh soil has enough nutrients for at least 2 weeks and the clones don't have huge roots to pick them in large quantities anyway.

Make sure the soil doesn't dry out. Once every couple of days stick your pinky into the ground and try to feel moisture.

I think optimum temp is between 72-80F, but get a second opinion on this. Just don't let plants sit in above 86F, above that photosynthesis slowes down along with growth.

Fertilizer you have there is fine.
Soil you have will work but, it is not great. Perlite is grweat to add for drainage.
You will know if they are under watered when they start to droop. Otherwise what ratatata sounds good. How far is that bulb from the plants? How they look now? One pot per plant is best too.
