First Grow

Well I decided to try growing out so I took a couple of the seed's from the weed i get and I germinated them now I put them in this soil I had it is an inch deap. So can anyone explain to me if im doing this right and what to do next.

So u germinated meaning the tap root is exposed and u planted that root down in some soil.
Hoping that the soil u are using is ok and won't kill the seedling. R u growing under lights or sun.
You can put some cling film on the cup/pot until you seed the seed coming up in the soil then take it off.
Just wait for the seed to sprout, make sure the soil is slightly moist but not wet.
once the seed sprouts it will grow and then u might have to repot it to a larger pot
