i tried to transplant and lost some roots, how mutch trouble am i in now?

i have ben having all kinds of problems with my 1rst plant. the leaves are drooping and there is a kind of a large brown spot forming on the side of one of the fan leaves, and little brown spots. i planted it in soil that feeds for nine monthes and i figure that is my mane problem too mutch fert already in the soil. i havent gave it any fert outside what was allready in the soil. its about three weeks old still pretty small its only about three or four inches tall there there are three sets of leaves the third are real small just bareley showing. after flushing twice over the last couple days i went ahead and got some professional potting mix from a greenhouse today and tried to transplant into a two gallon planter but the soil fell apart in the cup it was in and i ended up pulling the plant out of the soil alltogether with the roots hangin. so i went ahead and washed the roots clean in a glass of water and planted it, so what do you think my chances are of this little girl makeing it?

some vets are gonna have to help you on this.

I think you over watered her. flushing that much could be cause, I over looked the fact you flushed so much.

Vets will need to help you on this, did you use PH balaced water through out all of this?

I have a plant that survived root damage, it just took longer to bounce back from the transplant. Without knowing how badly damaged the roots are though I can't guess how likely it is that the plant will survive. You'll just have to wait and see.

About the potting soil, I've had bad luck with everything that says "potting soil" on it. Make sure you check the bag to ensure that it has no ferts.

To Growers: The absolute, #1 best thing you can possibly do for your plants is research before you start. Ignoring this is like depriving your plants of light or water-- enough to ruin everything because a vital component is missing.
