I've heard a little about darkening the grow room after transplanting, but I don't buy it. Transplanting can cause stress, and I'd rather have my plant fully lit during this time to recover.

You should pre-water your larger pot before you physically move your plant into it. It allows the dirt and everything to settle before taking it's new plant. If you didn't get that done beforehand, I would still water your plant. Make sure to press down around the base so the dirt is compact around the roots.

Don't water for the next few days and then continue on your normal watering/feeding schedule
