Nutrient question

Im starting my first grow with one plant but im not sure how many different kinds of nutes and things I need. Im gonna use a nice fox farms soil but do I need a ph up and ph down? Do I need different nutes for flowering than I use during vegging or do I just use it at different strengths? Someone told me to get some tiger bloom but what else do I need? Help please

First off welcome to the world of growing. Secondly I'd like to suggest some reading, just a quicky....http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-...row-guide.html.... it is just one of the many helpful sticky threads here in the site. In my first grow I've yet to use any nutes at all.......http://forum.grasscity.com/grow-jour...5-my-grow.html..(a link to my journal).....and I've had success. In the afore mentioned sticky thread I read that you could use something like a 10-30-20 or 10-60-30 for flowering, and if you don't know what those numbers are you should read some more. As for nutes during the vegetative state you could add some higher in nitrogen *(the first number) and water them down. Introducing them to your plant slowly, watching their reactions, either positive or negative. When it comes to pH uppers or downers I use a simple $6 liquid test kit to control my feeding water. It's really simple to use, and the soil that your using has a nice pH right out of the bag. I hope some of this could help, but if not just read some of these threads; all the answers you could ever need are here. P.S. Use the search\/ tool it's great......Good luck with your grow
