cfl's vs hps

ok here's one for the experts..
i've been growing under cfl's for about a year now... i've had about 3 sucsessfull grows under cfl's.. now i'm thinking of getting an hps.. can someone tell me if a 150 watt is good enough for 2 plants?,and will this mean that i won't need to use cfl's on the bottom part of the plant?? also can you tell me weather using hps will make the flowering time shorter?? thanks for your help..

150 hps would probably be OK for 2 small to medium sized plants rendering each with 75 watts per. Your CFL's for side lighting would only help them not hurt. No HPS will not decrease flower time; that is determined by genetics and genetics alone.

a 150watt HPS would be good for 2 very short plants.
