that has a mogul base and wont fit into a regular light bulb thingy...

You can get 150 watt equivalent CFL's but 100's are way more common

(they are actually 24 watt)

My apologies, I didn't realize that you may be in the UK and maybe you have a fixture already that this bulb will fit in already, I dunno what type of base a lamp uses in the UK...

oh rite, so two of them would be perfect. Why would i need a ballast? i thought they were used with a different type of bulbs?

do the bulbs screw into the ballast?

That is indeed a great price, even converting to USD!

I might have to consider getting myself one and using one of them travel converters so it would work in the US...

I just bought a 125w cfl from my local grow store. I had a good reflector already for my other cfl (only 42w). It works great and my plant is doing a lot better since i increased to this big guy. only $50!

Hello all,
New here and came upon this thread. I just purchased a dual spectrum bulb with reflector lamp. My question is, where do I get a red spectrum cfl, like the one you have, for cheap? If I should purchase a replacement bulb from the place where I got the reflector lamp, the bulb itself will cost me about $70. Is that a good price for one red spectrum bulb? I live in the USA. I have to admit, the UK has some really good deals but don't ship to the USA
