Growing from clones

I've been offered 4 clones and a light set up and I'm thinking about buying it. Would one room be enough to grow from the clones? I was told something about I would need two rooms. I don't know dick about what I'm doing so explain it to me as such.

You dont need two rooms, just if you ever have some plants in veg and others flowering they need their own seperate light-tight areas. Also clones can be done good by some form of humidity tent/covering.

So yes you need to partition them in that case, but seperate room? No.

how much are you expecting to pay and for what kind of lights?

You'll also need to consider ventilation, ph meter/ fluids and growing medium as an additional expense...

400 for HPS Lights, I need to double check the wattage. I was going to run it by you guys and make sure I'm not getting raped.

Here's another question. What's the avg. time from baby clone to harvest? And once it's been harvested what's the time from harvest to next harvest?

Damn, I need to do some research about what I'm geting myself into I think.

Clone to harvest, Depending on your strain of plant it can be from 8-11 weeks usually.
Thats if you go straight into flowering 12/12.
Hope that helps.

Just my 0.02

'Sup dude you can start flowering clones as soon as they root. You will get one big cola with lit'l to no side branching when u flower after rooting. You can veg them for as long as u want. U will need to pick a clone to be a mother for perpetual harvesting, so you want to make a seperate enclosure for the mother to be on 24/7 light regime and it needs to be light proof. Checkout dr.budGreengenes grow in advanced technique. He does a kick ass job explaining how to harvest everyweek using See of green technique and how to keep a mother alive forever . Clones take 8 to 12 weeks, depending on strain. Sativas take much longer than indicas. check out dr.buds grow man, killa write up. Anyways, as far as the HPS for $400, sounds high considering you can buy 400wHPS for like 150. OR if u wanna save money and dont mind a lit'l wiring, go to http://www.e-conolight.com and search replacement ballasts and HPS and MH. VERY CHEAP. Although the replacement ballasts arent housed and they range from 50w to 400w. I hope some of this verbal diahrrea helps ya out. KEEP IT GREEN. peace, e

$400 for a used light?

seems a bit high to me unless its a really good 600 - 1000 watter w/a digital ballast

but I may be wrong...
