Question about seeds???

Hey, I have a question about seeds. I have been saving up my seeds because I want to try and grow my own weed, but today when I was examining the seeds, I realized that there were 2 kinds of different looking seeds. I know that theres different types of weed, but do the seeds look different, if they are different types of marijuana??? Because one of 1/2 of my seeds are a pale, whit-yellowish, very dull color, smaller, and are oval shapped. and the other 1/2 of the seeds I got are bigger, rounder, and have black lines(they look like veins) running on the outside of the surface..... does anyone know what kind of seeds they are?? please help me! thanks!

well the white ones prolly arent going to germinate because they are immature which means that they werent fully developed when the plant was killed or cut down and the brownish or tanish colored (sometimes Very Dark Brown) ones with the black lines are good seeds those are the ones that will come up or like 90 % of the time good ones depends on how u store them and keep them for the long run or how old they are main thing is though that u cant very well tell strains by seeds u have to wait but ahh if u have been saving your seeds up u will have many strains growing so who cares just if u want try some of the white ones i dunno but if htey are smashed and very small and crumbly they wont work best thing to do is get a small knife and cut into a seed if its hollow which the white ones if they are immature will be they wont work if they have a white round thing in them they will work best of luck to ya hope when ya grow ya get females

HIGH All, don't cut into a good seed you'll only kill it. Just germinate them All and see which ones will. The pale seeds like smokin&tokin mentioned are inmature. Germing your seeds is the only way to tell and it will kill your curiosity.

[Iron Seed]

I usually put my seeds in a warm cup of water over night. The ones that sink are the ones I plant. Not that this is a sure fire way, but I've always had great luck!!! Good luck with the grow!!!

P.S.: If you germinate the seeds in a cup of water, make sure that you put the cup in a dark, and I mean PITCH DARK, place for 24 hours.

all of the seeds i have that are big and round and dark are all schwag... all my chron seeds are tiny and farily light... from my personal experience the real dark seeds are more difficult to germinate... my most recent three chron seeds germinated in 10-12 hours in the cabinet of my computer desk... dark, warm, keep moist

you can always pray to the germination gods too.. that sometimes helps

HIGH All, it's the way we do it Iron Seed and as far as we go the only way...but the paper towel in the ziplock works also.
