1st time grower

What up all, I'm new to the site, I read a couple of the posts on here and though I'd join so I could get some good advise on my 1st plant. I've only have one. Its 1 1/2 weeks old and is an inch tall. It looks healthy as of now. I've got some pics of it but don't know how to post them on here so I was wondering if I was able to post some pics and have a little advise and what you think of the plant. It only has 4 leafs, 2 round shaped leaves and 2 pointy leaves.

Today I came home after work and had to check on it to see how its coming along and I noticed the pointy leaves are facing upward and the round ones are kinda like Limp looking but still green. I've been doing some reading on the net and also looking at pics of month old plants that are big for only being a month old and probly able to start to bud.

Beings that I'm a 1st time grower I got some seeds out of my friends bag and germinated them. I didn't want to go all out and buy expensive seeds my 1st time and they end up dieing on me.

How long does it normally take before I can harvest my plant. I've herd you can harvest after 2 months.

There are a lot of variables, but the good news is that MJ, like most plants, is fairly hardy and will grow in spite of some less than ideal conditions.

First off, don't worry too much at the small size of your seedlings. Plants put on most of their growth underground (making roots) in the beginning.

The length of time to harvest depends mainly on the growing conditions (indoors under artificial light or outside under sol) and the strain of the plant. My ladies for example, have been flowering for almost three months and they still have some time to go.

To me, gardening is an exercise in patience with the payoff being a bunch of jars of bud.
