To rule out PH related issues complete a soil runoff PH test.......
with PH corrected water (6.5-6.8PH ) pour enough water in the pots so the water runs out the bottom of the pot ...collect & test the PH of this runoff water....

post the soil runoff PH ..

how big of pots would i need to get a good yield out of my plants?? i got them in a 6 inch pot now.. would i need to go up in size anymore or could i just leave them in the 6 inch pots?

I've been smoking for quite some time now and im getting tired of blwoing all my hard earned cash on smoke so i have decided to start growing and I just have a few questions about topping, lighting, and feeding. I will be very greatful if someone could pas on their wisdom to me. I would also like to note that I would rather yeild a couple ounces of really good shit than a pound of ok stuff and my op will be done in a small space indoors and its going to be very covert.


On to my questions.

Topping my plant will make it grow short and bushy? Whats the shortest I can keep it and still yeild a decent amount?

I dont have hte funds ot buy a high quility lamp so will fluro's be sufficient for for say two plants in a 4' by 4' space? I've also heard talk of using black lights and im wondering if i should do this?


How often should i water my babies and do you think miricle grow is a good idea? Or will it just give me cancer in 15 years?

#2.The best advise i can give you is to read the thread in the advanced grow area about 13 down by drbudgreengenes,you can thank me later if you are so inclined to.

#3. No dont use black lights, you could of heard of using an UV-B light,that can do some great things.

Ide avoid anything flammable in there,mylar is by far the best and with the amt you need it will be cheap too. Were here to enjoy ourselves and also to help those who will apreciate it,im sure it will all be passed on in the end. We hope,

no, do not put dirt up around stem, it will cause stem rot, to get that lumens youll have to get higher wattage bulbs bulbs, the higher the wattage the higher the lumens. www.1000bulbs.com , http://www.1000bulbs.com/105-Watt-Compact-Fluorescent/ these are 105w & 6,900 lumens each.

yes check your ph, & they might need some food & water, start w/ 1/4 strength & see what happens, try on one, u should see improvments pretty fast (1day). the curling up on some of those leaves kinda looks like heat stress. are the leaves crispy?

i dont know what that is, but white is better, but paper can catch fire, & yes thats a cfl. u can use foil, dull side out or use flat whte paint.

the rule of thumb is 1 gal pot per 1 ft of plant, eg: 3ft tall plant = 3gal pot. a 3gal pot is about 10"
