Watch those temps during the day,USE the fan if the temps go much above 80,the fan running IS far better IMHO than HOT temps. BTW see that little quote box at the lower right? That will add what your responing to and will help ppl who dont follow from the past. The scales will give credit where credit is due,dont be afraid to use it here and there,everyone. What about on cool days? The temps very all year. I thought you said it was bad to leave your fans on while the lights are off. You said hook my fans to a timer and have it go off with the lights. Is that rule only good in your grow room?

That rule is for ppl whos room stays below 80f. bro,and for the majority of growers who dont have there lights off during the 90F. hot days. Think about it,YOU need temps like jcj said,do what you need to get this to work.Also keep the humitity under control,60+ veg and 40- flower,does this help?

It will stay cool if the fans stays on. I don't know about you, but temps change during the year here. So do I turn the fans off with a timer or not?

Since you are not using light during the hot day and your temps are over 80f. Use the fan with a thermostat like rumple said to keep your temps down,Most ppl can use timers cause they use the lights during day time and nights are cool enough.

It would help alot if you explain your whole growing environment in great detail so answers are suted to your grow,remember most all grows are diferent and use diferent methods to suit them.

Most people have their lights come on when its hot outside and off when its cool? Most people are smoking way too much dope if thats the case. Seems the best time to have the lights come on is when its cool and the off cycle when its hot (so the lights don't add to the heat issue). But you guys seems to know what your talking about.

Ozzy, it's funny how things work out, huh? When looking for advice on growing, don't go by number of posts on a forum. Find someone who has pictures of their grow opperation that you would like yours to look like. Then ask how they did it.

Depending on the temps that way can work well,there are benifits and drawbacks to all ways.If you understand the basic principles of growing and adapt them to what you need,and you have the right temps and humitity 24/7 you will thrive,those #s are all to help you grow the best you can,you can still grow outside this but the grow may suffer.

I will agree with the pix comment but many sucessful growers wont post pix because it could incriminate them.
