a mother is a grown female plant in veg. youll need a razor or sizzors, rubbing alcohol, & rooting/cloning solution, & rockwool or jiffy cubes to plant the clones in & a humidity dome. u clone from the side/lateral branches. yes u can clone outside, but clones need to be grown inside till rooted (about 10 days). watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-T2ud4Qe34

u dont need different soils for the plant, u can get some mirical grow organic & some perlite to mix in.

any organc soil, mirical grow organic & some perlite mixed in w/ it. for veg u want fert w/ something like 20-20-20 w/ micro nutes, for flower u want fert w/ something like 5-30-15 w/ micro nutes. for veg u want the 1st # high, & flowering u want the 2nd # high.

depends on pot size, but 1 bag should do. fox farm, general hydroponics, & advanced nutreints are good fert companys

is it bad to use diff strains is sog? if one strain were to stretch out over the rest, would that be bad for the rest of them?
I was thinkin like i have a 10 plants. Out of those 10 plants, lets say 7 were medium height(indica) and 3 were tall(sativa).
Would the tallers ones block out light to the smaller ones?
Do i have the option of using multiple strains at a time in sog, or do you think its best to use 1 strain at a time?

My plants are flowering and looking for nice thank god.
However some of em have very "leafy" buds.. many leaves on the buds.

Whats causing this?
The strain is just some bagseed I found, can it be related?

u could do different strains, but youll have to train the taller ones to stay small, ex: topping, fimming, lst
